With the continuous development of China’s national economy, the country’selectricity demand continues to increase, many of the regional high-voltage overheadtransmission line running already facing transmission bottlenecks. The use of a largesection of the wire, the new heat-resistant wires, the new transmission lines andother programs not only long construction period, and the huge investment in thetransmission corridor has very dense area is very difficult. Therefore, the study ofdynamic high-voltage overhead conductor’s capacity technology becomes very im-portant.This paper describes the theoretical basis of the first overhead power line dy-namic capacity increase technology research status, temperature model to study theoverhead wires running. Calculation of Dynamic ampacity too volatile for traditionallaw improved dynamic ampacity calculation algorithm, a comprehensive study of thedynamics to improve the high-voltage overhead transmission lines in key technolo-gies as possible. The main work of this paper includes the following aspects:(1) Study the overhead wires temperature model, improving the method forcalculating the dynamic carrying capacity. Heat sources are mainly sunshine over-head wires endothermic current role of heat, heat the whereabouts of the main con-vection, thermal radiation cooling, the current provisions of the standard maximumallowable overhead wires running temperature is generally70℃, according to thewire temperature model derived transmission capacity and wind, sunlight intensity,as a function of ambient temperature, the heat capacity of the wire and consider im-proved algorithm to calculate the dynamic carrying capacity of overhead conductors.(2) Study the overhead conductor sag model, proposed a new method for cal-culating conductor sag conductors based on the equation of state of stress. Overheadwires in engineering calculations can be seen as a catenary model was constructedmechanics catenary equation model based on the principles of mechanics, consider-ing the overhead line based on the equation of state of expansion and contraction ofoverhead catenary wire model, deformation can be pulled in the known state of thetwo overhead lines can solve any one wire sag state, does not require real-timemonitoring of overhead wire tension.(3) Designed to MSP430microcontroller as the main control system, photovol-taic solar panels to charge the battery power of the rectified voltage control system to SIM900A as GPRS signal transmission module, data acquisition, processing,sending integrated, reliable performance, work stable system.(4) Based on LabVIEW platform and VC6.0software developed high-voltageoverhead transmission lines Dynamic Capacity software system, the software dis-plays real-time monitoring of overhead lines running, real-time early warning alarm,store data, historical data query, print reports and other functions.
