The urban rail transit had brought great convenience for people’s life. At the sametime, the environment vibration problem caused by the rail transit system was increasinglyserious, and aroused people’s wide attention. Therefore, the research of vibration transmitcharacteristic and attenuation rule has important implications.This paper took Suzhou rail transit as the background, studied the surroundingvibration caused by the rail train running. Field vibration test, numerical simulation andexperience predict were used to do this comprehensive research, such as train vibrationsource characteristics, ground vibration response laws and performance of vibrationreduction measures. The main contents were as follows:Ground vibration sensitive spot tests were taken around Suzhou rail transit. Evaluatedthe environment ground vibration level of residential, factory and ancient building,compared the vibration response characteristics, analysed the ground vibration reductionlaw caused by rail transit.Hammering method was used to test the transfer function and coherence betweenexcitation point to the rail, sleeper, ballast bed and tunnel sidewall. Frequency responsecharacteristics were analysed and used to deduction the train load.Combined with the national standards, the geological features and the structuralcharacteristics of Suzhou rail transit, vibration test data was used to optimize theexperiential formula which mentioned in environmental impact assessment report. Thispaper mainly corrected the impact of vibration source and distance.In order to predict the effect of ground vibrations induced by Suzhou rail transit, theauthor established finite element model according to the Suzhou soil characteristics andtunnel structure. During numerical calculation, to obtain the input force signal of finiteelement model, a method to deduction the train load was proposed, which based on railvibration transfer function test by hammering method. Caculated the ground vibration at Jiejiadianzi, the result matched test data welly.This paper caculated the effect of vibration mitigation measures which were used inSuzhou rail transit. Frequency response characteristics and applicability were analysed. Putforward reasonable suggestions to control the vibration of Suzhou rail transit at last.
