As the major source of the noise pollution, the vibration and noise motivated byElectric angle grinder (including gear pair, stator, rotor et) will cause some injury tosomeone who use, especially those motivated by Electric angle grinder rotating with highspeed(15000r/min in this paper). Therefore, the dynamic response and noise of the Electricangle grinder is the main research contents in this paper. The main research contents are asfollow:(1) Modal analysis of the electric angle grinder, which obtain the first ten ordernatural frequencies and its natural vibration mode.(2) Transient analysis of the electric angle grinder, which gain its vibrationcharacteristics (acceleration response and its frequency components of the surface of theelectric angle grinder).(3) Analysis of the gear pair meshing and impacting of the electric angle grinder,which achieve the contact stress at the beginning of the meshing.(4) Noise analysis of the electric angle grinder, which achieve the sound pressurenephogram on a spherical surface4meters away from the electric angle grinder.(5) Vibration and noise experiment of the electric angle grinder, which prove thecorrectness of the3D model of the electric angle grinder and the numerical calculation.
