Two new types of RC fabricated column-column assembled joint based on thenew RCS hybrid frames and the reconstruction of the conventional column-columnassembled joint are proposed to meet the needs of the industrial development of themodern building industry in our country. One of the the column assembled joints usedin the flared sleeves straight thread connection is positioned by the cup of theunderneath column and connected by a through tenon column. Then, the straightthread sleeves are utilized to connect longitudinal reinforcements, after which,assembled segments are grouted to achieve the vertical structural assembly. Anotherassembled joint is connected by glue-grouted straight thread sleeve, in which, thereinforcement bars of the underneath column insert into the sleeves of the uppercolumn, then, anchorage glue is pouring into sleeves in order to achieve the verticalstructural assembly. Both of the assembled joints have high efficiency and reliablebehavior. The main contents of this paper is following:1.Present two new steel connection technology, glue-grouted straight threadsleeve connection and the flared sleeve straight thread connection, and the worksabout the mechanical properties of these two connections were carried out.And theexperience results indicated that the two kinds of connections could meet thetechnical specification very well.2.Two RC columns and five assembled columns were tested under the cyclicload. The results indicated that:(1)The two kinds of assembled column have thesimilar bearing and deformation capacity with the entirely casted columns with noappreciable decline in energy dissipation capacity, which demonstrated that the twokinds of connections have no significant reduction in the performance of seismicresistance. The fabricated RC columns can be designed as the entirely casted columnsbelow the premise that the construction measure is up to the requirements presentedin this paper.(2)The increase of axial load ratio increases the load capacity andenergy dissipation capacity, as well as the ductility.(3)The position of the assembledjoints has no clear effect on the seismic resistance, the deformability of plastic hingeis same with the traditional one.3.The design and construction methods were proposed through the seismicperformance tests combining with the experience of the construction, which providedthe assembly engineering application with the gist.
