Ship power system including main engine,gear box,couplings and shaft,propeller andso on,it is the center of the ship.The development of the ship power system has become thefocus of the world shipbuilding industry,and it is also the key to competition of theshipbuilding countries.Improving the development of the Marine diesel engine powersystem,solving the key design technology of the power system,making the ship powersystem products to localization,have become an important topic in the field of the Marinescience and technology.This paper analysis and combing the key theory technology of the ship engine powersystem,and write the design flow based on the theoretical knowledge,and use the MATLABto programming,then designed and developed a soft system that it can design andcomprehensive evaluation of the ship diesel engine power system.The main design points ofthe software system is:(1) using the Kt、Kq regression formula method to calculation in themachine propeller matching design,and it can avoid the trouble of using the map design;(2)In the part of the host selection,the low-speed machine adopts “machine withpropeller”method,the medium-speed machine adopts the fuzzy comprehensive evaluationmethod,making the comparison of the fuzzy factors,and use this method can make theselection more objective and scientific;(3) In the comprehensive evaluation part, calculatingthe navigation and bollard features,according to the calculation results to judge theperformance of the ship machine blade,calculating the energy efficiency index of EEDI,toevaluation the ship is in line with the emission standards that is stipulated by theinternational maritime organization.According to the more equipment and large storage of the ship power system,this paperuses the Access2003database,combined with MTLAB to realize data callsincrease,modify,delete,update and other functions,it achieves a large amount of datastorage,it also convenient to use the data.The design software can realize the exchange ofdata and call each other between each design model,according to the relationship betweenthe parts,choosing the optimal matching equipment to design. This software system can becompiled into the independent DMEP.exe file,we can just install MCR Installer.exe on theoperation of the computer,then the programme can be executed without the MATLABenvironment. Using the software system for calculation and analysis of different type of ship,it showsthat the results conform to the requirements of the ship design,software design scope iswide,it not only can be used for the new ship design and selection,but also used to replacethe main engine of the old ship,the software system has the high application value. Therequirement of the professional level of the user to the design software is not high,only needto input the related parameters,then we can make the integration design of the Marine dieselengine power system.
