In the electromagnetic sensitive equipment environment, the strong transientelectromagnetic field caused by electric intermittent short-circuit spark haselectromagnetic interference effect to equipment. In mine environment that requireshigher safe intrinsically, electric intermittent short-circuit spark tend to cause moreserious consequences, not only property damage to equipment, and also a seriousthreat to the staff’s life safety. Data show that in the past few decades, the ratio of firecaused by electric intermittent short-circuit spark to the total fire accidents has beenincreased year by year. So for the monitoring and positioning of electric intermittentspark research, for the safe operation of the equipment and personnel life safety ishaving the effect that cannot been ignore.In this paper, the electric intermittent short-circuit spark forming reasons wereanalyzed, and several different short-circuit current model were introduced, andcompared with the practical detection current waveform. The damped oscillationimpulse function model was selected as the electric intermittent spark dischargecurrent model. The electrical intermittent spark electromagnetic analysis model basedon the electric dipole model was established. Numerical analysis by using Ansyssoftware to Spark signal, a quantitative calculation has carried on the influence of thedifferent current to electromagnetic field and the electromagnetic field intensity indifferent distance.The electric intermittent short-circuit spark electromagnetic field monitoringsystem was designed and built. By electric intermittent short-circuit spark signaldetection, fully demonstrated the correctness and feasibility of the experiment device.Through experiments, collected data, obtained a function model betweendischarge voltage and distance, according to this model, the intermittent short-circuitspark source localization experiment has been carried on. Three sensors installed inthis experiment, by using the least square method, we got the initial location value,and used it as the initial value of Newton iteration algorithm, and we got the optimallocation information. Spark source localization experiment simulation is carried on byusing Matlab, positioning results eventually converge to [-10cm,10cm] error range.Iteration results show the correctness of the intermittent short-circuit spark sourcelocalization model, and verified the accuracy of Newton iteration algorithm in theelectric intermittent short-circuit spark source localization. Finally, the severalexperimental errors were analyzed.
