With the rapid development of the construction industry and reduction of nonrenewableresources, the study of construction waste recycling has become an important topic both athome and abroad. This research is mainly to study on the recycled concrete powder obtainedby crushing and sieving from the waste concrete. The recycled concrete powder is different from the ordinary portland cement. We canunderstand the recycled powder preliminarily through the analysis of some basic propertiesof the recycled powder, including the recycled powder preparation, analysis of physicalproperties and chemical properties of the recycled powder. Then,we can study the influenceof recycled concrete powder to the flexural strength and compressive strength of mortar. Byadding alkaline activator Ca(OH)2and Na2SiO39H2O, and grinding the recycled powder, wecan study how to improve the activity of recycled concrete powder and select the best ratio. The compressive strength and carbonation resistance of recycled concrete are the resultof many factors. This paper has studied the recycled powder which used as mineraladmixture and according to a certain proportion to replace the cement, and analyse thecompressive strength and carbonation depth of concrete, and compared with the ordinaryconcrete as well as the fly ash concrete, try to analyse the effect of the recycled concretepowder to compressive strength and carbonation resistance of concrete at last. The researchfocuses on the types of mineral admixtures (recycled powder, fly ash) and substitution rate(0%,10%,20%,30%), water cement ratio (0.54,0.61) and activation method (physical andchemical method), then analyse the compressive strength and carbonization performanceconsidering these factors and different activation processing methods, lastly compared withordinary concrete and fly ash concrete.
