Slope protection and governance is more common technical problems in geotechnicalengineering, which is involved the national defense,road, railway, water conservancy,construction, municipal engineering and so on. However previous research slope is aimed atbedding slope,and the study of antidip rock slope for deformation mechanism and landslidemodel is less. Antidip rock slopes are those with anti-direction terranes, in other word, theslant slope isopposite to that of the terrane. Deformation and failure of the antidip rockslopes are mainly effected by antidip terranes. So the research of antidip rock slope is veryimportant in theory and practice.This paper studied the deformation failure law of the antidip rock slope, and a betterstability analysis method and support technology was put foeward. The main contents andconclusions of this study are as follows:(1) Systemic study the main factors that impact antidip rock slope, and estimates thedegree of influence for antidip rock slope stability caused by this factors through finiteelements softwares Midas GTS.(2) According to the influencing factors of antidip rock slope study the antidip rockslope’s failure type. The destruction of antidip rock slope is overturning and shearing slipdamage.(3) The mechanical model of antidip rock slope in different failure modes was establishedand the stress state of this model was analyzed. The collapse of cantilever composite beams isconsidered to be the main reason of antidip rock slope failure. we can consider that thedeformation and failure rules of antidip rock slope is structure homogenization—structurestiffness weakening—structure failure. (4) This paper study the support technique of antidip rock slope with the consequence ofmechanical analysis in antidip rock slope and engineering project for. And then thepre-stressed anchor cable is put forward in the engineering of antidip rock slope.(5) With the antidip rock slope as engineering example, the antidip rock slopemonitoring technology is introduced. And this antidip rock slope is been strengthened andanalyzed.
