Nowadays, in the rapid development of science and technology, the informatization and modernization of our society, the intelligence and security of mine development, make people higher request for the power supply. Power failure is uncertain, and mine local fan is of great significance under the mine, once electricity interruption will be incalculable consequences. Therefore, high performance emergency power supply as backup power supply, will be mining safety guarantee.After comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the EPS, UPS and diesel generator set, it is concluded that it is important for the high performance EPS application in the mine local fan. Then the article introduces the working principle and some technical indicators of the mine local fan EPS, according to the requirement, the article designs the system structure, selects the battery type and calculate the parameters and so on. The article details the design of the charger unit. According to charging principle and characteristics of lithium iron phosphate batteries, the article chooses a scientific charging method, using BUCK circuit as the charging circuit. It achieves two stages of constant current of3A and constant voltage of14.4V, which improve the charging efficiency and prolong the service life of the battery. The article introduces the design of the battery management system unit. Combined with the advantages and disadvantages of existing equalization circuit, the article proposes4series batteries as a unit with the dissipation energy balance management scheme. The balance of battery is realized by software programming. It reaches about average current of1A. Finally, it not only increases the safety of battery, but also prolongs the service life of the battery.The article details the design of the inverter system. According to principle diagram of the inverter system, the article determines the main circuit topology and introduced the design of the hardware circuit. It includes the power switch device selection in the main circuit and the design of other auxiliary circuit. Inverter technology changes the traditional analog circuit to software to generate SPWM waveform digital control technology. It simplifies the circ reduces the cost, and is more conducive to achieve digital control. Human-machine interfac according the Modbus protocol to communicate, it adds some auxiliary functions, used to display charge equalization and emergency state parameters of the inverter.Finally, based on the analysis and the design of each module, the article completes the construction of the hardware circuit and debugging, collects the experimental waveform. It shows that the design of the whole system is in conformity with the design requirements and completes the expected goal. The article summarizes some disadvantages of the research in the process, and puts forward some improves measures.
