Culvert disease is common relatively in permafrost regions, due to the unreasonable structure, or inadequate depth of foundation and the action of the frostheaving and thaw, which will lead to various diseases of culvert. This paper desc-ribes two kinds of repairt reinforcement scheme, and it focuses on the damageto national highway214near Qinghai province cover culverts, the inorganic binde-r stabilized aeolian sand replacement abutment and culvert bottom cushion; theself-compacting concrete filles the narrow space within the culvert, this papermakes a series of studies through laboratory tests for the two reinforcement materias separately.First of all, study the basic characteristics of aeolian sand, through the standardheavy compaction test to study the relationship between water content and dry de ns ity,so as to determine the maximum water content and maximum dry de nsity.Secondly, reinforced aeolian sand with cement, lime, lime fly ash of three kindsof inorganic material, through compaction test study on the influe nce of variousfactors on the de nsity and variation, research the effect of each factor on CBRvalue and changes according to the heavy compaction test. Analys is of three kinds ofcuring agents curing effect.Again, about the self compacting concrete mix design, through adding flyash,slag powder, rubber powder of different kinds of admixture respectively toanalyse influences of mixture workability and compressive strength of the mixture.
