| Soft soil with characteristics of low intensity, high compressibility, and poor waterpermeability,has the problems of large settlement and lack of stability when constructingroads on it.Sand wells Preload method proved to be a normal way using in foundationtreatment,it can solve the problems of settlement and stability of soft soil foundationseffectively.The project which this paper relied on is located in Jinshan port in Yantai, the sandwells preloading method was chosen to treat the soft soil foundations according to theengineering properties in this area.The elaborate work involves several aspects as follows:(1)Summarized the commonly used methoeds in soft soil foundation treatment,studiedthe current research of soft soil consolidation theory and its stability.(2)Introduced the general situation of the soft soil foundation in Jinshan port inYantai,determined the test reactor containing regimens and settlement observationprograms.According to on-site monitoring data, summarized the law of subgrade settlementand analyzed its stability, so as to guiding the construction more effectively.(3)Three kinds of curve fitting methods are used to predict the final settlement value ofthe soft soil foundation,they are method of Hyperbolic,method of Exponential and method ofHoshino.After a comparative analysis,we find that the fitting curve result from the method ofHyperbolic is in a good agreement with the measured value,less good is the method ofExponential,and that of the method of Hoshino.(4)Simulated and analyzed the settlement and stability of the soft soil foundation inJinshan port With finite element software,the simulated results agree well with theexperimental situation.And using the software to optimize the original soft soil foundationtreatment,in order to obtain a more suitable approach in this area of soft soil foundation. |
