In Loess Plateau region, the loess is widely distributed and its collapsibility is relativelystrong, so the heavy and short duration rainfall in flood season often leads to highway slopedisasters, which causes huge economic loss and has bad effects on society. According to thereal situation of highway slope in the north of Shaanxi, the research on disaster risk zoning ofhighway slope disasters is conducted for a deep understanding of the regional characteristicsof slope disasters in the north of Shaanxi loess region to reveal the rule of disasters in order toprovide certain basis for northern Shaanxi road network planning, design, maintenance anddisaster prevention.On the basis of the analysis and summary of home and abroad researches on disaster riskzoning, through field investigation and the geological environment survey and dynamicenvironment in the Loess Region, and according to the characteristics of the regional highwayslope disasters, the characteristics of rock and soil mass, topography and geomorphologyfactors, inducing factors and vegetation factors these four aspects are taken into consideration,the writer selects the regionalization index according to the principle of choosing index.In the process of the index selection, the writer fully considers the real situation of NorthShaanxi highway slope and makes use of the Shaanxi province highway daily maintenancepatrol system in order get two index data of height and density of the dangerous highwayslope. In addition, the writer selects the type of rock and soil, the slope of the ground, thedensity of surface cutting, the days that rainfall is over25mm and the vegetation coverage asseven indicators to construct the regional slope hazard evaluation index system. According toanalytic hierarchy process based on the analysis of matter element, the weight of eachregionalization index is determined, and the spatial analysis function of the ArcGIS10.0isused to generate the index layers, and the Northern Shaanxi highway slope hazard risk map is got in accordance with the partition model superposition and getThe Northern Shaanxi is divided into3risk levels: mild, moderate and danger andamong these the moderate risk area is subdivided into2subregions. On the basis of northShaanxi slope hazard zoning and the network of trunk line, the writer makes dangerevaluation in a piecewise way and proposes the control measures accordingly.
