| Highway bridge plays an important role in economics, culture, technology, environment and national defense, how to ensure the bridge structure stays in good state is thecommon problem for bridge engineers. Under multi influence of natural environment (flood, wind and freeze) and human factor (low construction quality and overload), the workingperformance of concrete bridges degrade gradually; the structural safety and durability tend tolower, leading to insufficient flexibility of bridge structures. How to test and strengthenconcrete bridges is the key factor to ensure the bridge structure working in good conditions. Therefore, bridge detecting and strengthening technology is the hot topic of internationalbridge engineering.Based on diseases and corresponding measures of concrete low-box girder bridges, this paper studies the detection and strengthening methods, the main aspects are included:(1) Summarizes the research status of concrete bridges detection and strengtheningtechnology, and explains the significance and necessity of concrete bridges strengtheningmethods research of concrete small box girder bridge;(2) The typical diseases and the causes of concrete bridges are studied deeply, thedetection technology and dealing measures are introduced. The goals, content and test processof loading test is introduced in detail, which lays solid foundation for strengthening study forconcrete small box girder bridge;(3) Common strengthening methods for concrete bridges are introduced, theadaptation and their advantages and disadvantages are compared and analyzed. Strengtheningtheory, construction technology and process of bonding steel plate, bonding FRP andcomposite method are introduced in detail.(4) Based on a highway concrete small box girder bridge, the bearing capacity ischecked and the working situation is analyzed, providing technical support for strengtheningdecisions and future management. Through the effectiveness and economics comparison ofthree strengthening methods and the analysis of construction process, the optimized method issuggested. |
