In recent years, as one of the most main anti-ship weapons, the anti-ship missilewhose attack accuracy, range, anti-interference ability have been improved greatlywas notice by more and more countries.In contrast, the target ship became a "weaker"with relatively poor mobility, high cost cost. Therefore, Anti-missile is particularlyimportant. The theory basis of missile defense is anti-ship missile trajectory tracking.Anti-ship missile is a kind of typical high maneuvering target,which has thecharacteristics of strong motor and multiple mobile. Especially its unique form of"snake maneuver" brought great difficulties to the tracking system. This article usedthe IMM algorithm and the "current" statistical model constituted model set, togetherwith the method of UKF filter which avoid extended kalman tedious Jacobi matrixcalculation, then we get a new method——IMM_CS_UKF for anti-ship missilestracking.To describe the anti-ship missile tracking method specifically, we divided thearticle into four parts:Firstly, the choice of model. Mainly we introduced the related principle oftarget tracking theory and several kinds of mathematical model which is often used intarget tracking.Then we highlight the characteristics of the "current" statistical modeland analyzed that it was more suitable for the strong maneuvering target tracking thanother models.Secondly, the choice of filtering algorithm.Filter filter was divided into a linearsystem and nonlinear system.we introduced two kinds of filter algorithm in detail andanalyzed their respective advantages and disadvantages.Then we prove that UKF wasmore suitable for anti-ship missile tracking system.Thirdly, multi-model approach of target tracking.Mainly we introduced therelevant theories of multiple model tracking method, and the advantages anddisadvantages of various methods.Then we analyzed the principle of IMM methodand proved that IMM method had a good effect to deal with the problem of anti-shipmissile movement complex.Finally, we demonstrated the effectiveness of this method by simulationexperiment.Results show that the method has good tracking performance to strong maneuvering target just like anti-ship missile.
