Concrete filled steel tube which is composed of two materials is a form of composite’structures. When its under loading, it can make the full use of steel and concrete, and avoidtheir disadvantages. It has high bearing loading capacity, good plasticity and toughness, fastand convenient construction, good fire resistance and corrosion resistance and good economicreturns. It is widely used in the construction.The perpose of this passage is to study the effect of Jiangxi acid rain on the corrosionresistmce of concrete filled steel tube structure,12specimens with different strength grade ofconcrete and slendemess ratio were corroded in vary degrees in three kinds of solution withdifferent PH and then tested tinder the axial compressive.6specimens with differentslendemess were corroded in vary degrees of different periods of time in the average ofJiangxi acid rain.and then tested tindee the axial compressive. The results show that the steeltube corrosion cause the loss of structure bearing capacity and stiffness,the effects of ioncomposition and pH value of acid rain of jiangxi province on the corrosion of concrete filledsteel tubular are not so serious in short time.ABAQUS was used for the investment of the corrosion resistance of the specimens. Inthe light of the consistence of simulated results and experimental data, a developing analysiswas performed and the results to showed that local corrosiondecreases more the ultimatestrength than the overall corrosion in the same corrosion conditions.
