As an important part of the automotive driveline, gearbox has great influence on vehicleperformance.. Due to poor working conditions, gears often produce noise and vibrationproblems..With the improvement of living standards, people have higher requirements for automobilecomfort How to control the vibration and noise of automotive transmission gears gradually become animportant issue.This dissertation aims at the gear of a transmission.Firstly, gear and vibration generation theoryare researched, and methods to study gear vibration and noise are concluded. Gears contact systemdynamics equations are established using numerical simulation method. The relationship betweendynamics excitation and gear vibration are analyzed.Secondly, multi-body dynamic models areconstructed to calculate the dynamic excitation of the gear system. Finite element models areconducted to get the natural modal and vibration acceleration response of gear system. Finally, theacoustic model of gear system are conducted to make radiated noise simulation analysis to calculatethe acoustic characteristics of the gear system radiated noise.According to the simulation results,proposed changing box structure as optimization measures to reduce the transmission of vibration andnoise.
