To solve the seasonal fluctuation in small hydropower about the powergeneration in wet season and dry season, and the problem of the short intermittentand stability about Photovoltaic and wind power supply, to reduce the unnecessaryabandoned water power in small hydropower in wet season, wind power and thesolar power,and to improve the utilization efficiency of renewable energy, and makethe electric power system take the reasonable use of local natural resources togenerate electricity. This paper researched the optimization configuration of thewind power, solar, small hydropower generation and the storage.Through analyzing the basic principle of the hydroelectric power generation,photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation, and energy storage battery,the corresponding mathematical model is established in this article. Based on theestablished mathematical model, this paper carries out the reservoir characteristicsof the new energy sources such as wind, solar, water and storage energy throughsimulation analysis, and the results are shown that the distributed power supply has acertain complementary. To meet the needs of micro-grid load as the goal in terms ofplanning configuration under the research emphasis of multiple energycomplementary system which contains wind, solar and water. The genetic algorithmis used to configure new energy ratio under different proportion of new energypower generation, and the problem of minimizing the energy storage capacity ofintegrated optimal allocation can be solved. Finally, the reserch on storage capacityconfiguration of stabilize new energy output fluctuations and used to stabilize thecontact line power fluctuations in the grid of the wet season or the dry season in therun cycle. And the spectrum analysis method is used to analyze the powercharacteristics of objective power. Considering the charge-discharge efficiency ofenergy storage system, SOC under different time scales window, the minimumvolume optimization scheme is carried out under the restriction of output volatilityabout target power after the compensation energy storage system (ESS).It is verified by an example that the new energy ratio in micro net and areasonable proportion of new energy optimization to sharply reduce the storagecapacity. And the target power output volatility is dropped to less than10%with a smaller storage capacity configuration. This method is helpful for no matter theeconomy of investment project or the reliability of power supply, and it also offersguiding significance for the optimizing configuration of new energy complementarymicro-grid.
