Tension-compression dispersive anchor cable is a new type anchor technologyemerged in recent years. Its work principle is the common action of pressure-dispersivestructure and adhesion produced by exposed strand’s and grout on the basis ofpressure-dispersive anchor cable. It has excellent performance compared withtraditional pull-type anchor cable and other type prestressed anchorage cable because ofits excellent performance such as uniform and stable load transferring and goodcorrosion resistance. It has great advantage on building rock slop than traditionalpull-type anchor cable. At present, the engineering application is far ahead of theoreticalresearch of tension-compression dispersive anchor cable. A systemic study on loadtransfer and anchorage behavior about tension-compression dispersive anchor cableapplied in building rock slope by methods of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation,field test. The main work is summarized as follows:①Make a systematic generation on rock anchorage technology andtension-compression dispersive anchor’s application and development. Thetension-compression dispersive anchor’s research is on the basis of tension anchor cableand compression anchor cable. So the systematic generation about mechanical effectand application of tension dispersive anchor cable and pressure dispersive anchor cableis necessary. Based on that the main research contents and technical route is proposed.②Analyzing grouting body of tension anchor cable, equations that describegrout-rock interface interactional law and axial stress distribution in grout are obtained.According to working characteristics of compression anchor cable, equations thatdescribe grout-rock interface interactional law and axial stress distribution in grout areobtained by the mechanical analysis of grouting body. Based on deformationcompatibility to analyze the bearing plate of tension-compression dispersive anchorcable, setting an example then the law of load transfer of tension-compression anchorcable is obtained.③The numerical simulation is executed for tension-compression dispersiveanchor cable. According to its working characteristics and structure, the numericalmodeling is discussed. It is proved reasonable by theoretical analysis. Design variousconditions of main factors affecting the anchorage performance to analyze the mainfactors affecting grouting body’s mechanical behavior, some conclusions are drew. ④The failure mode of tension-compression dispersive anchor cable is proposedbased on analysis of tension type and compression type anchor cable’s failure mode.The design methods and construction points of tension-compression dispersive anchorcable are studied combining with engineering practice in building rock slope. Thereasonable bearing capacity value of grout-rock interface, the design method of thelength of anchoring section and the structure of the anchor cable is studied. Thetension-compression dispersive anchor cable is utilized in engineering practice, usinganchor dynameter to monitor the prestressing force and draw some conclusionsaccording to monitoring data.Through all above studies, in the study of this paper, results of numericalsimulation fit the theoretical results well. Numerical and theoretical results are appliedin engineering practice. This study could provide the reference for the design andconstruction of tension-compression dispersive anchor cable.
