At present, with the great advance in modern technology, it has brought greatchanges to human life, especially the improvement of living standards. People’s lifestyleand eating habits have changed, but the irrational diet and lifestyle make more and morepeople suffer from some chronic diseases, such as hypertension, obesity, diabetes, highcholesterol and so on. Meanwhile, high-pace work and high-strength pressure also leadto the occurrence of these diseases. Therefore, in order to deal with health problembetter, an increasing number of people eagerly desire to understand their health statuseasily in real time without affecting the working and living conditions. Although peoplecan go to the hospital for a routine medical examination, the cost is high and relativelytime-consuming as well as not easy. For some remote areas, the medical resources areextremely scarce. In addition, the physiological parameter detection instrument in themarket can detect physiological parameters, but they are higher costs, less portable, lessintelligent and need to recharge or change batteries frequently. To solve these problems,a research on the key technology of Personal Health Assistant (PHA) based onBluetooth4.0is proposed and a PHA system has been developed. Combined withphysiological parameter modules and iOS mobile client, PHA system can measurephysiological parameters easily in real time based on Bluetooth4.0low powertechnology, sensor technology and iOS platform technology. Due to the use of the smartphone with Bluetooth4.0, the system can better reduce the power consumption and costfor acquisition devices, and is portable and easy operation. Furthermore, you can usephone services to upload the measurement data to the network so that doctor and otherscan view the health data for better actions. Successful implementation of PHA systempromotes the development of mobile medical products, and makes medical servicesmore personal, family-oriented.This paper firstly discusses the significance of the subject from the researchbackground. Then analyze the theoretical basis of key technologies,mainly includinglower power bluetooth technology and bluetooth4.0high-level core protocol.Subsequently, design the overall structure scheme of PHA system. The hardware partincludes physiological parameters sensors, CC2540control system and WX2530communication module design, and the software part includes the application design ofphysiological parameters, protocol implementation of OSAL layer, protocol stack design of low-power Bluetooth4.0and the application development of iOS mobileclient. Finally, discuss the test process and result analysis of PHA system, showing thatPHA system is accurate, low power, high reliability and simple operation.
