In recent years, China’s shipbuilding industry is facing serious challenges, thestate has started to attach importance to marine equipment industry. In modern shipautomation equipment, ship power grid intelligent controller occupies a very importantposition, is the key to realization of power network unattended devices. Ship gridintelligent controller based on NMEA2000is the development direction of the shipintelligent network devices, but most of our ship power system controllers are based onDCS, unable to meet the requirements of modern ship grid control. Development basedon NMEA2000marine equipment abroad has largely matured, but power networkcontrol equipment functions related to the simple, and needs to be improved. Therefore,the study of ship grid intelligent controller based on NMEA2000is relevant.Firstly, on the basis of extensive research, this paper provides an overview ofcurrent development of ship power network controller, draw ship grid intelligentcontroller based on NMEA2000are the future development trend of ship power controlequipment. Secondly, NMEA2000in some limited circumstances in our nation, soconduct some research on NMEA2000, while the ship control system based onNMEA2000Protocol were studied. Thirdly, through the research of ship gridcontroller based on NMEA2000Protocol, analyze the basic framework of thecontroller, the controller is divided into three major parts, namely grid parameterscollection, switch control and communications. the work principle and realization ofhardware of each part were studied. Fourth, in order to achieve communicationsbetween controllers and superior monitoring based on NMEA2000, and taking intoaccount the controller shortage in domestic and international, the controller’s operatingmode is designed to a variety of types and studied the communication features of eachdesign mode, put forward that the controller communication messages divided intofour categories, and designed on the specific implementation of each type of message.Fifth, the ship grid controller must be Anti-disturbance when ship incorporation, so thispaper put forward the overall design programme of ship incorporation based onNMEA2000, analysis disturbance produces causes, to give controller anti-disturbancealgorithm, after that built model and simulation to verify this algorithm, simulationresults validation this algorithm is work on ship grid anti-disturbance, providetheoretical basis for the controller in the anti-disturbance design. Finally, using the CAN analyzer simulation control box, this paper takes a communications test for shipgrid intelligent controller based on NMEA2000, this results show the feasibility andcorrectness of the controller design, to meet the requirements of intelligent control ofship power network.
