More and more underground engineerings are under construction and their burieddepth is deeper, under the background of rapid economic development in our country.Because of its complex geological environment, underground engineering is differentfrom the ground engineering, especially in the engineering construction activities underlarge buried depth, often encounter the surrounding rock instability phenomenon such asrock burst, which serious threat personnel life safety and construction equipment ofunderground. Therefor, rock burst forecast accurately is very important. Scholars athome and abroad have advanced plenty of the theory, based on the mechanism and thecriterion of rock burst. However, the complexity of the factors influencing the rock burstand the imperfection of the mechanism and criterion of rock burst because of itsinsufficient factors, which limit the accurate prediction of rock burst and grading. Asrock mass acoustic emission monitoring technology improve and widely used, it willbring more references for rock burst forecast.In this paper, under the Gaoligongshan tunnel construction of Dulongjiang roadreconstruction project, we research on the tendency, predition, regularity andcharacteristics,and the criterion of rock burst, which based on the measured groundstress and rock burst in related engineering data, acoustic emission monitoring,events ofrock burst and numerical analysis. The main research content is as follows:1In this paper, the rock burst orientation of Gaoligongshan tunnel will be studied,based on the measured in-situ stress of rock mass, geological datas and existingengineering datas.2Rock burst prediction and classification, analysis of typical rock burst eventsand the characteristics of acoustic emission monitoring data, summary of rock burstoccurrence regularity and characteristics and corresponding prevention measures,acoustic emission criterion of rock burst forecast, all will be included in this paper,based on the acoustic emission monitoring results and records of rock burst.3the characteristics of surrounding rock stress distribution, application of avariety of rockburst criterion based on stress and strength relation, analysis of rock burstintensity and distribution of the position, and compared with typical rock burst eventanalysis, all will be analysed on the platform of ANSYS. At last we conclude that thecriterions of Barton and Russenes are more suitable to evaluate the rock burst of Gaoligongshan tunnel.Moreover we also suggest the rockburst criterion based onanalysis results.
