Automatic clutch control system is an important part of the control system ofelectronically controlled automatic mechanical transmission. Automatic clutch controlsystem consists of the clutch assemble and electronic control system. Automatic clutchcontrol system performance directly affects the mechanical electronically controlledautomatic transmission shift quality and automatic clutch assemble life. This study isbased on the study of a hybrid motor vehicle automatic clutch control design anddevelopment.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Research and analysis of the hybrid vehicle automatic clutch system architecture,based on this proposed automatic clutch control motor design requirements, theestablishment of a brushless DC motor mathematical model that provides the foundationand basis for the subsequent software algorithms.Describes the brushless DC motor control software design ideas and programmingstructure, Initially completed writing and debugging of the automatic clutch control motorcontroller software by the use of C language TASKING embedded environment;Discusses in detail of the working principle of the brushless DC motor controller andhardware design, made some introductory of the operating characteristics of thecomponents including the selection and presentation of the main chip, the power moduledesign, driver module design, position sensor modular design, CAN communicationmodule design; involved in the various modules and major components to the circuit aredescribed and completed automatic clutch control motor controller hardware design anddevelopment by the use of Altium Designer6.9.Conducted test bench of the clutch automatic clutch control motor and set up twodifferent actuators, worm gear actuators and planetary gear train actuators. On the basisthe bench, has conducted a performance test of hybrid vehicle by hybrid mode andconventional power mode.
