Maneuvering is a significant characteristic of aircrafts, the dynamic response ofthe aero-engine rotor system mounted on the moving base tends to exhibit manydifferent characteristics from the fixed base. Typical turbocharger rotor system anddual-rotor system of aero-engine are the subjects studied, the dynamics characteristicof two systems in maneuvering conditions is analyzed. The main work includes thefollowing parts:1. The current research of rotor dynamics under base movements, turbocharger,aero-engine dual rotor system, the critical speed is reviewed.2. A model of turbocharger rotor of UAV under hovering movement is presented,while Runge-Kutta numerical method is applied to solve the equation, dynamicresponse analysis under different rotating speeds in a hovering state is developed. Theresult shows: disk center trajectory of the turbocharger rotor is changed significantlybecause of UAV horizontal hovering movement, and rotor vibration amplitude variesat different rotating speeds.3. A model experiment rig of aero-engine dual-rotor system under basemovements is designed and manufactured, which can simulate various basemovements of the aircraft maneuvering to study how the base movements influencesthe aero rotors especially the aero-engine dual-rotor system. SAMCEF software isused to calculate the critical speed of the dual-rotor system, the results could providethe guidance of structure parameters design.4. The critical speed of the dual-rotor system is tested under different speed ofdual rotor. The experiment rig of the aero-engine dual-rotor system under basemovements is used to simulate three typical aircraft base movements (hoveringmovement, pitching motion and turning motion), studying the base movements impacton the aero-engine dual rotor system. The relations between the rotor dynamics andthe base movments (pitching, hovering, rolling) are summarized.The designed and manufactured experiment rig is of great significance in the fieldof aero engine dual rotor dynamics experiment under base movements, the conclusiondrawn form theory analysis and experiments could reduce the real machineexperiments in the engineering field and save a lot of resources. The research has a reference value on theory and design of the aero-engine rotor systems.
