The booster station grounding grid is an important part of the power plant, and itis an important guarantee for the safe and economic operation of power system. Thegrounding grid is the zero point of the power plant generator’ leading-out terminal(including booster station, circuit breaker, PT, CT, lightning arrester), when theelectrical equipment have problems or unsafe factors, the failure current or othershigh current can drain quickly into the ground, So as to ensure the booster stationswithin the normal operation of various electrical equipment and staff personal safety.This academic introduces the existing problems and the development, through theanalysis of the220kv power plant substation station grounding grid, describes themain properties of the connection technology, and compares it with the actualgrounding network, provides help to design the220kv power plant substation stationgrounding grid.This paper mainly for the following research:1.Introduces the main problems in the desigh and operation of the booster station,describes the grounding grid technology development history both at home andabroad. Through the use of complex image method, the calculation method in Green’sfunctions of horizontally stratified multi-layer earth. According to the matrix betweenthe advancing relations, can calculate the Green’s function more quickly, andcompared to the classic image method and the complex image method. Results showthat, using the complex image method is more effective for multilayered soil.2.The result by used Wenner four-electrode method method can derivate thehorizontally stratified multi-layer earth. To use network design software CYMGRD,we could calculates the main parameter grid220kV step-up substation in power plant,to building the foundation of the mathematical model for grid booster station.3.Introduced in the different types of current injection, the interference of boosterstation grounding grid and other electrical equipment in power plant. Also establishedthe equivalent formula between the equipment of booster station and grounding grid.Use the ATP software to simulate the status of influenced by unsafe factors.
