It is using the real FarSapphire ship related data for simulation, real simulation of the actual shipcharacteristics; According to related data for the winch of AHTs and Offshoreinstallation to establish winch motion model, towing pin, ballast and anti-roll tanksystem.Through the theoretical analysis, establish a cable model system to simulate wirerope movement. This simulator built the relationship among cable span, anchor depthand the anchor cable force.This thesis combines vessel model, cable model, and winch model together tomake the simulation for the real anchor handling by AHTs.
