The unique traffic accessibility of subway has enormous drove the commercialdevelopment arrounding the site and increased the land value along the line.Underground commercial space development of station domain is a trend in ourcountry, and we should carry on the scientific and comprehensive theoretical researchand summary, and reasonable development.Firstly, through the method of data analysis, we research the theory and practiceof the features about the design of the underground commercial space development inNew York, Montreal, Paris, Moscow, Osaka and other foreign cities at Metro Stations. And through fieldwork research and data analysis, we summary the designcharacteristics and the status issues of the development on underground subwaystations’ commercial space designing in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and HongKong. And we hope by this way can make contribution to our future undergroundbusiness planning and development in theory and practice. On this basis, we use theliterature analysis method to sort out the system of the technology and theory on theunderground commercial space at Metro Stations in order to provide theoretical basisfor the domain of the Tianjin Metro underground commercial development.Second, in this research we select the commercial space systems of existing foursubway lines in Tianjin as practical cases. As analysis the theory and practice ofdesign cases on the domain related to the city subway station undergroundcommercial space development plan, we hope to provide support to the Tianjin Metrounderground commercial development and the date and information to research on thetheory and practice of related disciplines.
