As the key-ligament between the customer and the generation&transmissionsystem, distribution system plays a very important role in ensuring the continuouspower supply for customers in safety and in high reliability. At present, Chinese urbandistribution network also has many problems, such as the weak structure, the lowequipment utilization rate, the unreasonable network planning and so on, which havemore or less lag behind the city’s economic development, and become a bottleneck ofurban development.To improve the network structure and the supply capability, this thesis makesresearches on specific problems, such as the connection modes of medium voltagedistribution network, the contact among stations and so on. The main researchachievements are as follows:1. The calculation method of the supply capability in the medium distributionnetwork, for the purpose of comparison between distribution grids with differentstructures, is developed with the introduction of the relation of supply capacity to themain transformer overload coefficient, the S2S (station-to-station) linking capacity,and etc.2. A typical supply model in a supply block of the distribution grids is presentedcombining the connection modes of the substation low voltage side and of themedium distribution grids, in order to determine the optimal supply scheme.3. After the capability calculation of different typical supply models, the optimalmodel is selected by the analysis of the S2S linking number which influences thesupply sensitivity and the S2S linking capacity which influences the economy.
