| Faced with the increasingly serious problem of aging population, most of theelder people in China support their declining years by pension or family pension.Thestem family of three generations continues to occupy a large part of our family ratio.As a developing country, another important feature of aging population is getting oldbefore getting rich. A large part of the elder people belongs to the lower and middleclasses. As for the stem families with low and middle income, elderly housing problemis a very heavy one. Ensuring housing, as an important national the livelihood securitypolicy, is aiming to solve the housing problems of low-income families in the city. Butour country’s construction of ensuring housing is still in the immature stage,macroeconomic policy and architectural design need to be further explored.Theconcern for the housing needs of low-income families and residential space design isfar below enough.This article is written referred to the above context, aiming to analyze the housingneeds of low and middle income old stem family, residential space, so as to arrive tomeet their needs and solve their housing problems, and make a beneficial attempt forthe design study of the ensuring housing in China.Firstly, this paper summarizes the policies and practices of the ensuring housing athome and abroad, combing the theoretical research and construction of senior housing.Then, taking the elder people in the stem family as subjects, the research includesinterviews of two Xi’an ensuring housing communities for more than80elderly people,survey chosen the main features of the household, the use of questionnaires, photos, field measurement to analyze their real life and live acts and draw a residential floorplan. Comprehensive theoretical studies and surveys are concluded after analysis thestem family housing needs of the elderly. At last, focusing on their acts and needs andthe functions of the living space, the research gives recommendations on the analysisof area, mutual location, furniture possession and offers suggestion on the design ofdwelling unit types according to varies functions.The full-text is based on the actual needs of the subjects, taking the existinghousing problem as the starting point, writing from the aspects of detail size, spacerequirements, the design of the moving lines, variability design to discuss the innerspace and the dwelling unit type of ensuring housing, and offers suggestion andconclusion. |
