Morphing aircraft is a new concept of multi-purpose and multi-configurationaircraft, which can perform adaptive deformation according to the need of environmentand mission, and make flexible change in the flight trajectory, flight altitude and flightspeed, so as to gain optimal flight performance. While traditional crafts do not havethese advantages.Morphing aircraft studied in this thesis can make large scale deformation in thewing è leading to changes in vehicle inertial quantity. The system no longer meet thesingle rigid assumptions è and should be treated as multi-rigid-body system moreappropriately.Firstly, this dissertation introduced the basic concept of morphing aircraft, theadvantages comparing with the traditional crafts, and the facing difficulties andchallenges, then briefly introduced the research status quo of countries around the worldin the field. This dissertation also introduced the basic knowledge involved in dynamicsmodeling and optimization of flight plan algorithm as well.Secondly this thesis deduced the multi-body dynamic equations of Z type foldingwing deformation vehicle and morphing aircraft with flexible and variable sweep wings,conducted the reasonable simplified processing, and deduced the longitudinal motionequations.Thirdly, based on the analysis of existing data of Z type folding wing deformationaircraft, this dissertation showed the relationship between the lift and drag coefficientand the scale of wing’s folding deformation, and then designed a simple model of thistype of aircraft, carried on numerical simulation of the aerodynamic characteristic byCFD, and got the drag and lift coefficients in the relationship with the deformation scaleof the wing.Finally, this dissertation made a research in climb, cruise, gliding optimal flightscheme under different flight mission of the Z type folding deformation wing aircraft,and simulated the algorithm programs in matlab, based on quantum genetic algorithmoptimization.
