Ultra-supercritical power generation units has significant advantages for energyconservation and emissions reduction, not to optimize energy structure and improveequipment manufacturing industry, developing of ultra-supercritical power generationtechnology has important significance. However, at present oue country has not beenfully grasp such large casting production technology, especially the steam turbine rotorsteel, ingot casting, forging, heat treatment, and production technology.Production technology of clean steel of international commonly used ultra-supercritical HP/IP rotor material1Cr12W2NiMoVNbN was studied via cooperating aheavy industry machinery co., LTD. and a University. The evaluation system ofspecial smelting process and molten steel cleanliness of1Cr12W2NiMoVNbN rotorsteel had been formed. The require of large ingot casting material of ultra-supercriticalHP/IP rotor had been satisfied. Via studying of the paper, a heavy industry can reachleading indicator which include the size of99%inclusions below20μm (the size oftotal inclusions below20μm), hydrogen content below1.5ppm, TO content below35ppm, total five harmful elements (As, Sn, Pb, Sb, Bi) below0.012%, and Cu≤0.10%,Sb≤0.015%, Sn≤0.015%, As≤0.015%, Pb≤0.001%, Bi≤0.001%, S≤10ppm.
