With span length increasing of the arch bridge, higher construction technology of steelbox arch bridges is required, the safety issues and whether the state of bridge meet thedesign requirements or not have become the focus of researches.The whole constructionmethod of the steel box bridge is a new method. This method is suitable for the high spanratio of steel box bridge construction. In this paper Inner Mongolia Erdos Yi Kezhao bridgeas the research object, the simulation analysis for the construction process is researched, asafety warning system of the steel box arch bridge construction is programmed by using VBlanguage, this system services for the construction control. The main work is as follows:1.Introduce the structural characteristics and construction methods of Steel ArchBridge.By using methods of comparison,the Yi Kezhao Bridge constructed by the wholeconstruction method.2. The paper described the development overview of construction control technologyand main methods,and propose some shortcomings of domestic construction controltechnology. Construction motoring is an important part of construction control, including:the basis,the target,the accuracy,the control content and thingking, the main factors andcalculation methods. By comparing the main analysis methods,the construction process isanalied by the forward calculation method.3.This paper simulation analied for the steel box rib of Yi Kezhao Large Bridge usingMidas/Civil and analied the deformation and,the stress and the stability of the steel boxrib.The results are organized into a database.4. In this paper Midas/Civil element software is used to the simulation analysis of theYi Kezhao bridge,then the safety warning system is built by using VB language to achievetwo functions:Inquiry and Calculation.On the one hand,the database is inquiried.On theother hand,compare the results of construction monitoring with the theoreticalanalysis.Finaly,predict the state of the bridge structure.5.To verify the system compliance with the construction control thinking and servicesfor the construction control,the steel box arch bridge safety warning system is verified bythe example a large bridge in Guangzhou that it has been constructed.
