This thesis takes a mining area project in Huainan using coal gangue heighteningof embankment widening engineering with the research background and localengineering conditions,using the mining area coal ganguematerials as the researchobject,by using coal gangue outdoor scene screening test、system of coal ganguematerials was studied in the process of decay with time under the weathering particlesize change, grading after the restructuring and its corresponding decay,the changeruleof physical and mechanical properties of coal gangue is expounded material decay tothe stability of embankment and after heightenning effect,aiming at certain ofHuainan mining area coal gangue embankment design optimization and constructioncontrol. the main of conclusion research contents are as follows:The coal gangue influenced by the weathering process of the change in particlesize grading,characterized by particle size from large to small,characterized byparticle size from large to small,coarse material content decreases,and fines contentincrease,this cause the change of the coal gangue physical and mechanicalproperties,the process mainly in coal gangue filling decay timey within1year,coalgangue in the coal gangue decay process material thickness material content andphysical and mechanical properties tend to be stable.By using FLAC3Dnumerical simulation to study coal gangue material impact onthe stability of embankment in the process:the coal gangue embankment stabilitywith coal gangue materials in the process of decay time first increases and thendecreases, and the safety coefficient of gangue decay two months faster growth,Reach maximum in the third year, safety coefficient declines in the gangue decayprocess small and stable.Under the condition of the coal gangue filling water, coalgangue as the gangue decay time safety factor of embankment to reduce gradually, theoptimum moisture content conditions low-rising value is bigger. In the gangue decayprocess the change of cohesion and internal friction Angle of gangue had a greaterinfluence on the stability of embankment, and the change of modulus of resiliencenegligible influence on stability of embankment.The coal gangue embankment in the process of heightening, embankment safetycoefficient gradually decline. In immersion or under the influence of rainfall, thesafety of the coal gangue embankment stability fell sharply, rainfall for the stability ofembankment safety than flooding, especially both role at the same time, the safety factor of the coal gangue embankment has not meet the specifications required by theminimum value of1.30.For a practical coal gangue embankment design optimization,when coal gangueembankment in the process of heightening widening land use and economic cost isrestricted,mixed with clay or set the geogrid embankment structure can meet thepractical needs,engineering and construction Suggestions are put forward.
