Linkage are widely used in engineering machinery,the plannar four-bar linkage isthe most representative. Four-bar linkage of its simple structure, easy manufacturingandhas high reliability. With the extensive application of computer technology, synthes-isand analysis of planar linkage mechanism gradually turned to represented by visual computer-aided design and analysis.Based on the synthesis and analysis of four bar linkage theory as the core,usingMATLAB software developed the synthesis and analysis system of planar four-barlinkage.Take full advantage of powerful computing features and excellent data visualizat-ioncapabilities in MATLAB,and completed the software design of four-bar rigid-guidance,function generation and path generation.Research work mainly includes thefollowing four aspects,one part is to study the synthes-is and analysis of four-bar mechanismmethod and MATLAB software programming features.two is completed mathematical modelfor different four-bar linkage synthesis and analysis.three is Using MATLAB Compiledfour-bar synthesis and analysis procedures.four is Using MATLAB GUI techniques designuser interface.Through the software users can easily use the computer for parametric design of four-barlinkage, and achieved multifunctional design as one of the human-computer interaction,likethe size of four bar linkage synthesis,the type of judgement, Two-dimensional animatedsimulationand Angular displacement, angular velocity, angular acceleration curve drawing.
