Bridge structure is a national transportation infrastructure system an extremelyimportant engineering system, when the earthquake struck, as an important traffic connectionhospital, fire control, transportation lines, has an irreplaceable role. There are seriousconsequences of bridge seismic damage. If shut down because of the earthquake damage toBridges, would greatly weaken the ability to respond to emergencies, even temporarily shutdown, can also cause a huge consequences, so must ensure the integrity of the bridge, after theearthquake in the earthquake, Bridges are still able to normal use, it is the realization of theearthquake can restore function eritrea to solve problems in this subject.In this paper, based on the performance of the new type of controlled swing bridgetheory and experimental research, the basic components of swing bridge pier, calculationmodel, the feasibility of the design method and engineering application put forwardSuggestions and solutions, especially for controlled swing bridge pier model and computersimulation of the structure of the model are very detailed. The fourth chapter, introduced inthis paper using SAP2000platform based on controlled quasi static load swing bridge piermodel, and predict the controlled swing bridge pier in drab, circulation and under the action ofearthquake response. Full text related research content and contributions are as follows:(1)the first chapter summarizes the present belongs to the seismic active period, thebridge structure brought by the earthquake, the impact of the bridge is put forward in thispaper about the earthquake, the domestic and foreign research on new type of swing bridgepier and its for the earthquake is out, the advantages and disadvantages of its superioreconomic performance, and in detail elaborated in this paper, the main research content andpurpose.(2)the second chapter in detail based on the performance of seismic designcharacteristics different from the traditional seismic design thoughts, according to severalgroups of earthquake records data shows ductility coefficient for the influence of the residualdeformation after the earthquake,。(3)the third chapter illustrates the functional components of all the parts controlledswing bridge piers of the basic concept, function and design of a brief introduction about the controlled the development of the swing bridge piers and the present development of swingbridge piers.(4)in Taiwan’s kaohsiung first university of science and technology in the third chapterswing bridge pier [1]do test and test result analysis, in Taiwan’s kaohsiung first university ofscience and technology [2] do swing bridge testing machine equipped with friction dampertest results analysis, research on tsinghua university [3] a new type of self resetting bridge testand result analysis, clarify the differences and similarities of two structures. That can restorefunction structure based on performance of superior economic performance and the feasibilityof the practical application.(5)the fifth chapter is this article research results put forward the modeling method ofcontrolled swing bridge, using SAP2000modeling, model selection with cantilever beamframe structure, instead of seismic energy dissipation structure with dampers components,expressed in the nonlinear elastic spring and nonlinear inelastic spring and foundation ofbridge deck and connection, instead of controlled recoverable displacement components afterthe quake, and swing bridge pier quasi-static cyclic loading test, according to the data afterloading is analyzed, the mechanical parameters of hysteretic model is proposed.(6) the sixth chapter summarized, the main content of this article illustrates theadvantages of controlled swing bridge pier and the accuracy of the models, the developmentprospects of this new type of bridge seismic structure and its implementation can restorefunction after an earthquake.
