Currently, many bridges were constructed by prestressed concrete box girder.However, in practical applications, cracks in prestressed concrete box girder bridge isrelatively common, especially at anchorage area and the junction of the flange and theweb, which have seriously affect on the box girder bridge’s safety and durability. Forthis coMParison serious problem, this paper from the perspective of local stress, usedfinite element analysis, some research were carried out as follows:First this paper introduced the advantages and disadvantages of box girder, boxgirder’s appear and development; Then elaborated box girder’s cracks which causedby local stress and research status of each local stresses.Then analyzed the mechanical characteristics of box girder, describes thecalculation method of box girder local stress; described the concrete localcompression force’s state and the local norm’s regarding on the calculation of thepressure zone.In order to analyze the web box girder flange junction’s stress under shear lageffect, large bridges finite element analysis software Midas FEA were used, theestablishment of one three-span continuous prestressed concrete box bridge’s No.0、1block head space solid finite element models, they were analyzed under a bridge boxgirder bridge state maximum root section of the construction boom and the stress’ssize and distribution. And with the truss bridge finite element model with a large finiteelement software Midas Civil established calculation results were compared.Finally, the local stress distribution in the anchorage zone, For prestressedconcrete box girder bridge anchorage zone in typical position, the use of JTGD62-2004specification for checking local regulations confined areas, respectivelywebs anchorage zone, tooth plate anchorage zone and the ends of the anchor groupareas were bluided solid finite element analysis, figure out the size and distribution ofthese anchorage zone’s stress and their causes were described.
