Study On The Impact Of Traffic Night Restriction To Passenger Vehicle Types

With the development of China’s urbanization process, exchanges between the urban andrural aeras have become more and more frequent. The total passenger transport has a rapidincrease and the transport market is growing prosperity. As for the road passenger transportundertaking more than90%market share, it plays an important role in the passenger transportmarket of the integrated transport system. However, in the recent years, aviation andhigh-speed rail transport have become a great challenge for the road transport. With thegrowing concern on the traffic safety, especially the implementation of the limited line atnight, the environment of the passenger transport market is changing. In order to be followingthe step of the change, it needs to have a research on the influence of the night restriction onthe road passenger cars’ style.This paper first summarizes the status quo of highway passenger transport and analyzesthe factors which influence it, which lays a theoretical foundation for the following study.Then it adopts measures to communicate with the passengers and drivers, including visitingthe passenger transport enterprises and survey. It analyzes the necessity of passenger cars’existence under long-distance bus operational environment and the operational characteristics.It states the demand on the long-distance bus. By comparing the replacement of sleeper buses,it finds out the disadvantages and raises proposals for improvement.At the end, on the foundation of the research, from the view of improving the safety andriding comfort of the passenger car, it puts forward two proposals: one is about the safety forrising the passenger chair under the present standard, the other one is about the spreading fordriver bed. Besides, it gives proposal for improving the style of the long-distance buses.
