Now the analysis of the vertical bearing capacity and pile group effect are relativelysimple. According to this situation, the vertical bearing capacity of large-scale pile groupfoundation was analyzed by using numerical simulation technology. Based on practicalengineering, the research results has been successfully used and the construction technologywas studied. The main results were showed as follows:1. For the pile foundation of4#main piers, when the rock-socketed length is more than2times as the pile diameter, with the increase of rock-socketed depth, the increasing extent ofbearing capacity becomes very slow and the influence of rock-socketed depth for ultimatebearing capacity significantly reduced.2. With the increase of pile and pile diameter, the effect coefficient of pile groupdecreases, and the use efficiency of pile foundation is reduced, combined with the engineeringpractice of4#main pier, suggest the design of pile spacing should be controlled within2~3.5times the pile diameter.3. Pile length has a significant influence on the pile group effect coefficient, in the sameconditions, the longer the pile length, the smaller the pile group effect coefficient.4. Combined with engineering practice, the hole creating technology, pile formingtechnology and temperature control technology of pile caps were studied.The design of the pile group foundation of Langqiminjiang bridge was optimized, whichcould offer technology reference for related engineering design and construction.
