The subgrade is the foundation of the pavement structure. For the pavement structure towithstand traffic loads and long-term environmental effects, solid and stable subgradeprovides an important guarantee. In engineering practice, compacted subgrade soil as aphysical and economic measures to the most commonly used, has unusual significance ofsubgrade bearing capacity and stability,is also a key link in the process of subgradeconstruction process. In some areas of our country, it is inevitable to compact subgrade filler, where the rainy season is long and the rainfall is large. Due to limitations of the constructionperiod, the subgrade filler can not be completely dry to the optimum moisture content, whenthe subgrsde filler has a large water content. In some special circumstances of the repair ofroads, it is possible to compact subgrade, which has greater moisture content. Faced withthese unusual conditions, using compaction methods commonly used, subgrade filler degreeof compaction is difficult to achieve project requirements.Vibratory compaction technology has become the most common way compactingsubgrade. In vibration compaction process, the mode of action and effect between vibratoryroller and material compacted is dynamic and complex, and it is necessary to treat thevibratory roller and material compacted as a closed-loop system to study. Subgrade vibrationcompaction effect is related not only filler characteristics but slso working parameters ofvibratory rollers. Select fine-grained soil high liquid limit clay which has the specialengineering nature and difficulty for compaction, sandy soil, earth and rock mixture, byadjusting the operating parameters of the indoor vibrating compactor,to study influence lawof vibration compaction for vibration frequency、static surface pressure and centrifugal force.Besides, for the subgrsde filler of high moisture content, it is obvious that increasingcompaction effort can improve the vibration compaction effect. By calculating the subgrsdesettlement amount under traffic load and weight stress, the results show with its compactnessincreasing, the subgrade stability significantly improve.
