With the development of society, energy-saving for lighting has become the consensusfor human. On the premise of meeting the demand for people’s lighting, controlling the outputof light rationally is also an important means of energy conservation. Sunlight is the bestsource for human visual system, using nature light rationally in interior lighting, is not only toprotect the human’s eye sight, but also reduce the power consumption. As we can predict, itwill have broad prospect for development and good economic and social value.In this paper, our study is focus on interior lighting; we will propose a method ofadjusting the brightness level of LED lamp automatically, which is depended on the naturelight changing outside. The main work of this paper included:To establish three relation models: the first one is judge the weather condition throughthe five-faces lighting node’s data; The second one is calculating the value of attenuationlighting indoor depend on the weather condition; The third one is to estimate the illuminationvalues required by the human’s eyes.Proposed a strategy for compensating artificial lighting: On the basis of the value ofattenuation lighting, combined with the demand for human’s eye to light, this strategy willsave energy as much as possible under the premise to meet the needs of human eye.To achieve the specific functions: intelligent dimming is based on a interior lightingmanagement system, this system is consists of three parts: Zigbee node module (includinglamps and lighting collector node), TCP/IP gateway module (including Zigbee nodes andEthernet network access device) and a software management system. In condition of aninterval of time or the nature light changed rapidly outside, the lighting node with five-faceswill send the nature light messages to the software management system through the TCP/IPgateway. After that, this system will calculate the proper luminance level of LED, and thensend the control messages to the LED through the Zigbee network, to achieve the intelligentautomatic adjustment.The verification of intelligent dimming: There will be some experiments designed, toprove the method in this paper is a scientific, accurate and rationality way to adjust theluminance level of LED by some data. These experiments included: the verification of the geographic and astronomy parameters, how accuracy the lighting node reflecting theillumination by the windows, the calculated and measured values compared for the naturallight illumination attenuation, the final validation of the dimming effect.In summary, this paper will provide a new method for intelligent dimming in room. Itwill not only make the lighting more scientific, but also saving more energy, it is a goodresponse to the slogan of current low-carbon economy. We can expect that it will have a broadmarket prospect and good application value.
