In recent year, power supplies based on series or parallel a number of switchingconverters is one of the research hotspots in the power electronics area and paid moreattention by researchers. It is more difficult to analyze series or parallel switching converters because oftheir complex coupling methods. Currently, a large number of researches in series orparallel connected switching converters tend to introduce their control methods anddesign methods. Therefore, it is understandable that the network parameters of seriesor parallel switching converters and their open loop dynamics characteristicsoperating in current-mode-controlled are typically not treated adequately attention.Hence, aiming at how to improve the power rate, the dynamic load performance, thecapability to reduce the influence of the input voltage disturbance of the DC-DCconverter, some basic and exploring researches on the combined topologies of thebasic DC-DC converter have been done. This thesis firstly introduces the development background and researchsignificance of combined topologies of the basic DC-DC converter, then deeplyanalyzes the network parameters and stability of DC-DC converter in parallel andseries connected. The main fruits are as follows:2. Presenting the sets of transfer functions used to characterize converters’dynamic (i.e. G-parameters Y-parameters and Z-parameters) in matrix form as atwo-port network base on state-space averaging principle.3. Analyzing network parameters of Buck-Boost converter and Cuk converter indifferent series or parallel connected according to the G-parameters, Y-parametersand Z-parameters.4. Discussing effectiveness and determination method of series connected systemand parallel connected system base on two-port network theory.5. Analyzing open loop dynamics characteristics of series connected Buck-Boostconverter and parallel connected Buck-Boost converter operating incurrent-mode-controlled, including discrete-time modeling, bifurcation analyzing, stability analyzing and piecewise linear model simulation.
