The wharf mooring ship will have motion of six degree of freedom under the joint actionof wind wave and flow.The motion response of mooring ship have a huge impact on loadingor onloading of goods.It will happen to break mooring line if mooring force are huge,andthreat to security of mooring ship itself and wharf.So accurate calculation of waveforce,mooring force,fender impact force and motion response on mooring ship is obviouslyvery important.This article used the time domain theory, with the effects of the structure underwave,building the mathematical model of the ship motion response in front of wharf underwind wave and flow,calculate the motion of six degrees of freedom of the mooring ship andthe mooring force and fender impact force within mooring system,analysis the characteristicsof ship motion response in front of wharf under the action of long period.This paper is based on a145000M3LNG ship physical model experiment,establishedmathematical model for the motion response of the mooring ship in front of wharf.Modelconsidering the effect of wind, wave and flow, consider the wharf, fender pier, mooring pierfor wave field,calculated the wave force,motion responses and mooring force of mooring shipwhich under the random wave action,verification shows that the results of the numericalcalculation and the results of physical model are in good agreement in general.Apply mathematical model in this paper,numerical calculate the motion of mooring shipunder the random wave which period is12second,wave direction angle is0°、30°、60°、90°,wave height varying from0.2m to1.0m,acquired wave force,motion of response andmooring force on the mooring ship.Discuss the law of the change of wave force,mooringforce and motion response of mooring as wave height and wave direction angle.Through numerical calculate the motion of mooring ship which wave height is0.5m,wave direction angle is0°、30°、60°、90°,wave period varying from12second to35second,acquired wave force,motion of response and mooring force on the mooringship.Discuss the law of the change of wave force,mooring force and motion response ofmooring as wave period and wave direction angle.The analysis result indicates that themooring ship has different wave force,motion response and mooring force when wave periodis different.When wave period is small,the wave force,motion of response,mooring force aresmall,and mooring ship has a big wave force,motion of response,mooring force when thewave period near the motion period of ship.In this paper, the motion mathematical model of mooring ship consider the effect ofwind,wave and flow,also consider the wharf, fender pier, mooring pier for wave field,the conclusions can provide the scientific basis for port terminal design.
