Inductive Contactless Power Transfer (ICPT) is a new power transfer technology. ICPT requires nocontact of conductor, so it’s widely used in special occasions such as underwater, inflammable andexplosive occasions and dust-free workshop. Also, the advantages of convenience and safety makeICPT widely used in transportation and electronic products.The thesis is aimed at the movable ICPT system with multi-load and researches main problemsincluding the model of Loosely Coupled Transformer (LCT), the analysis and design of compensationcircuits and the design of closed-loop control system.The thesis analyses the loosely coupled transformer and builds the leakage inductance model andthe mutual inductance model of LCT. The model of LCT with loss considered is also built. The mutualimpedance is used to simplify the model of multi-load LCT. The mutual impedance simplify the lossanalysis and transforming relationship between primary side and secondary side. From the mutualinductance model we can see that the components of compensation circuits should match the selfinductance of primary side and secondary side.The thesis researches the ompensation circuits of ICPT system. Firstly, the capacitor compensationcircuits are analyzed. The thesis makes a summary about the designs and applications of the capacitorcompensation circuits. The thesis summarizes the principles and steps of designing compensationcircuits. Then the thesis analyses the characteristics of LCL circuits and the design methods of LCLcompensation circuits in ICPT system. The differences between LCL compensation and seriescompensation in secondary side are analyzed. Finally, the thesis analyses the equivalent circuit ofprimary side of ICPT system compensated by LCL circuit and presents the relationship between thequality factor of primary side and power. The transfer function of LCL circuit is also deduced.The thesis simulates the closed-loop ICPT system with Simulink. In the simulation, the loss ofLCT and the switch modal of the phase-shiftted full bridge are analized. The condition of soft-switch isdeduced. The simulation also gives the closed-loop control parameter. At last, the design of hardwareand software of ICPT system is presented, and the experiment data is analyzed to prove the theoryresearch and simulation results.
