Turbine based combine cycle engine (TBCC) consisted of turbine engine and ramjet, itcould work well in different flight altitude and mach number. It has a wide flight envelope and isthe focus of current research around the world. Therefore, the numerical simulation of TBCC isparticularly important.The study described the application of the TBCC, and it clarified the advantages of thecombined engine and its scope of application. By studying the tools of gas properties andcomputational method, engine component modeling, and the Newton-Raphson method, theresearcher built the mathematical model of the turbojet, ramjet and TBCC.Followed the spirit of the software project and the object-oriented design principles, usingthe technology of classes/objects, inheritance, overloading, templates, developed a enginethermal calculation software on the platform of VC++. It could calculate the fluid properties,engine component, component topology and the overall engine.Bases on a turbojet engine carryied out the modeling and performance analysis of TBCC,the study selected the flight path and control schedule, determined the layout of the engine andthe mach number of mode conversion. Finally, the reseacher analyzed the change of the engineperformance and control parameters with flight trajectory in different working conditions. andcarried out the preliminary exploration of the engine characteristics in the mode conversion. Theresults showed that, based on the continuous changes of the flow rate, the thrust increased afteropening afterburner and the end of mode conversion, during the process of conversion it has twomutations. |
