This research is supported by The National Natural Science Foundation of China (Projectnumber:51375227),The Major Research Projects of National Natural Science Foundation (Projectnumber:91223201) and The Academician Workstation (Project number: BM2011033).As a new type of pump, the piezoelectric pump has many advantages. Such as simple structure,no electromagnetic interference, low energy consumption and so on. Many scholars have come intothis region successively from domestic and abroad. The special driving mode and workingcharacteristics of the pump make it has a broad application prospect in these regions, such as theaerospace, chemical, medical and biological engineering etc.This article is mainly doing some research on the single conical shell valve piezoelectric pump.Including the overall layout design, the detail structure design, key parts design etc. And the concretecontents are as follow:Make an overall design of the prototype structure, including the position arrangement of eachpart, the connection method selection between each part, the sealing consideration of the structure, etc.And the working principle of the pump has also been explained.Gets the valve’s deformation displacement equation by using the non-uniform beam bendingknowledge of the material mechanics. Discrete the valve and set up the kinematics model of each unitto reflect of the valve-body’s working characteristic. Using knowledge of the fluid mechanics toillustrate the relation between the valve’s deformation and the flow rate “Q” by changing the flowsituation into inclined plate gap flows as the valve open. And this provides theoretical basis forexperiment analysis below.By using software of ANSYS, analysis the vibrator and the valve body in qualitatively. So it canshow the vibrator’s working state in qualitative. And the connection between valve’s deformation andvalve’s structure parameters, material type can also been showed.Vibrator’s vibration characteristic has been got under different kinds of supporting condition byusing the Doppler laser vibration measurement device. Experiments have been carried out withdifferent structure parameters and material type of the valve. Result shows that valve’s structure,material type and the support condition of the vibrator have a great influence on the pump’s workingoutput. Especially reflect on the best working frequency changing.
