With the high development of economic construction, cities’ land becomesincreasingly tense. With the limited available land resources, rational utilization ofunderground space has become a trend. However, in recent years, the anti-floatingproblem of underground buildings have become increasingly prominent. Due to thelack of the careful scientific research and evaluation about basement’s floating andrelevant factors, the anti-floating problem of basement structure caused by severedamage accidents occurred frequently.According to a staff dormitory basement local integral floating problem as anexample. The project for the multi tower structure (C,D, E three,16~18top layerstructure, arranged in a triangle arrangement),the layout of a layer of the basement(basement floor area of about10700square meters,4.1meters height), C, D, Ebuilding engineering and a layer of the basement are framework shear wall structure,the reinforced concrete independent foundation. By the heavy rains in the maincompleted, the rise of ground water level so that the basement floor up, the basementroof lifted292mm (and the main building does not settling height), discharge withoutresidual drop height of122mm, leading to the basement structure damage. Throughthe analysis of elastic plastic structures on not down to the basement structure intact,through iterative method obtained undisturbed case the basement structure is to meetthe capacity requirements are not restored, then determined the solution structure ofeconomic effective reinforcement. In addition, as to the integral basementanti-floating problem of the engineering structure, this paper introduces two differentanchor arrangement scheme based on the surrounding soil replacing of thebasement.And according to the basement roof float height, analyzed the failure levelwhen using the PKPM software, to get the new safety anti-floating water level.Thespatial mechanics model and the establishment of joint action of anti-floating anchorand soleplate of basement by using PKPM software,the stress analysis between thebolt and the bottom plate of basement,which can be used as a reference to design ofbolting theory. At present, the research results have been put into use, and achieved good economic and social benefits.
