On Constructing City Roadside Green Spaces And Restoring And Reshaping Road Landscape Features

City roads represent city image, reflect city features and are the most importantparts of city environment. However, the weakening and losing of the social nature andlandscape features in contemporary city roads has led to the losing of city features. Asan important component of city landscape, city roadside green spaces become a criticalmeans and carrier to restore and reshape city road landscape features. Based onanalyzing and summarizing the contemporary city feature crisis and its causes as wellas integrating practices in design, investigtion and survey, this dissertation putforward that city roadside green spaces can make significant contribution to the restoreof road landscape features and proposes methods and strategies to reshape roadsidegreen space features with the hope of benefiting researches and practices in the relateddomains.
