The membrane structure is a structure system of the large-span space structures andhas great prospects for development, at the same time membrane structure is also a kindof large-span flexible structure, since the membrane structure’s weight is light, theappearance is elegant, the cost is low, the construction speed is fast, the seismicperformance is good, so it is a building structure system which was wildly used inrecent years. Because of the membrane structure’s span is large, the stiffness and naturefrequency is small, therefore, the membrane structure is likely to appear large lateraldisplacement under loading addition to its dead weight, even leads to engineeringaccident. It is a valuable issue to study the nonlinear dynamic response of membranestructure under impact loading, because this kind of dynamic response problems arecomplicated, not only contains strong geometrical nonlinearity and material nonlinearity, but also there are coupling nonlinear and time effect. It has important significance toexplore this kind of dynamic response problems to obtain the general laws of them toprevent and reduce the engineering accident. This thesis is mainly devoted to the exploration of the dynamic response problemof polar orthotropic and isotropy circular membrane under impact loading. Firstly, principle of virtual displacement was used to establish circular membrane governingequations respectively under the given initial displacement of the free vibration andforced vibration under impact loading, the L-P perturbation method is applied to solvethe governing equations of free vibration and forced vibration and obtain theexpressions of vibration frequency and displacement. Lastly, ANSYS/LS-DYNA is usedto simulate the isotropy membrane dynamic response under impact loading and get thevibration displacement and time curve of impact point, furthermore analyze theinfluence of the dynamic response laws when the radius, density, pretension, speed andquality of impact ball are different. The comparison of theoretical results and numericalresults verify the correctness of theoretical derivation.
