Various actions are dependent on effective balance ability in daily life. Balance disorders,which causing a great burden on their families and society, serious decline in quality of life,are showed as standing or walking instability, prone to fall. And the patient cannot take careof themselves in daily life. For the patients in the community who has problem of the actions,Recovery training is extremely important during the treatment, rehabilitation equipment playsa most important role. Balance platform which used for balance testing and rehabilitationtraining at home and abroad is a mainstream research. It can evaluated the patient’s ability ofbalance objectively, and use the results for patient own rehabilitation training,This researchdid the following work using for this balance platform which used human body balanceability rehabilitation.First, balance platform which used for balance testing and rehabilitation training hasbeen designed. It is a parallel mechanism has two degrees of freedom (2-DOF). It has beenused a pure rotational parallel mechanism. The parallel mechanism can be achieved rotatingaround the x, y-axis directions. And kinematics and dynamics Analysis are done.Second, for platform movement, in order to accurately measure the motion parameters ofthe platform, a measurement system for angles is designed based on ADXL345accelerometer.We can know angles rotating around the x, y-axis directions from it.Third, the data which will reflect the x, y-axis angle changing is sent to the computer viathe microcontroller, and LabVIEW processing the data received, and using it development areal-time display platform for the center of gravity Real-time shift. It will lay a solidfoundation for the center of gravity real-time adjustment and rehabilitation training.Gravity center of human body can be disturbed by this platform, and body’s own balanceadjustment mechanism can be mobilized. The using of MEMS-based acceleration sensors,simplifying the design of the external circuit, and more stable and accurate, and reduces thecost. This will has important significance for the popularity of rehabilitation equipment.
