| With the development of science and technology,internal combustion engine technicallevel has changed rapidly, reached a very high level, but the level of performance ofthe engine has not still satisfied the consumers, as an engine engineer, to improveengine performance as the goal where to start the work.In this paper, a high speed gasoline engine as the research object, the method ofsimulation calculation and bench test combination, optimization of the engine inletand exhaust ports, utilizing resonance of air intake principle, to match engine intakeresonator being suitable, in order to achieve the purpose of improving performance. Inthis paper, the main work is as follows:Building engine bench test system, including power measuring system, the air-fuelratio test system, combustion system and analysis of flow measurement and controlsystem.The original engine model was established by AVL Boost, analyzed and inputthe parameters in the model, including: the parameters of intake and exhaust systemstructure parameters, the structure parameters of the cylinder head, combustion model.Based on the simulation model, calculating and simulating working process of theengine, predicted influence direction on engine performance by changing parameters.Using AVL Fire to analysis engine intake and exhaust gas motion state of airway andthe cylinder, according to the calculation results, on the basis of the actualrequirements to modify the intake and exhaust ports, the optimized intake and exhaustflow coefficient are improved, through bench test on the modified engine, enginepower and torque has increased by more than3%.Using simulation method to analysisintake resonator, through engine bench test, using the variable volume resonatorcompared with the original engine, engine power and torque has increased by2%-3%. |
