With the rapid development of urbanization in our country, construction waste isincreasing day by day. Construction waste, in particular a large number of abandonedbrick for recycled concrete, which is a low carbon economy and energy conservationfor the community, is not only conducive to the sustainable development of China’seconomic construction, but also is an effective way which can improve the environmentof urban construction and the development of recycling economy. Therefore, the studyfor the preparation techniques of recycled brick grain concrete and applied to actualprojects, have important theoretical significance and social benefits.In this paper, based on tests, comparative study contained regeneration brick Reapconcrete、 performance-enhancing mechanical properties of the concrete、ordinaryconcrete and ordinary recycled concrete. Meanwhile, five recycled concrete andordinary concrete frame columns were designed, which were taken with seismicperformance comparison test and the seismic performance of concrete frame columnscontaining recycled brick grain, and drew some new conclusions and recommendations.The main work and research as follows:(1) Five groups of75recycled concrete and concrete blocks were designed andprepared, including2group reinforced concrete with different substituent rate recycledbrick、1group recycled bricks concrete、1group ordinary recycled concrete and1groupordinary concrete. The main differences of mechanical properties in cube compressivestrength、axial compressive strength、splitting tensile strength、flexural strength andelastic modulus for the concrete were compared through mechanical tests. Meanwhile,their impact factors were analyzed. their impact factors were analyzed.(2) As the prototype of a real structure,51:2scale recycled concrete and ordinaryconcrete frame columns are designed and made of the prepared recycled concretematerials. Through the pseudo static test under low reversed cyclic loading, the paperstudies the seismic performance of recycled brick grain concrete and recycled concreteframe column, analyzed the recycled brick tablets, silica fume, polypropylene fibersand three anti-aging fiber recycled concrete frame column seismic behavior ofcomparative, analysis the failure modes of each frame column, ductility, stiffnessdegradation, energy consumption performance and load carrying capacity. In addition,according to the test results, use the fitting method, established the poly-line containingrecycled brick grain concrete frame columns restoring force model, and give theloading and unloading stiffness at all stages of stiffness degradation formula. Thismodel provides a reference when analysis containing recycled brick grain concreteframe columns seismic performance.(3) Using ABAQUS finite element software and a corresponding constitutiverelation, through the finite element analysis and simulation, this paper analysis of thehysteresis curve and failure pattern, and its energy dissipation capacity, And comparedwith the experimental results, and both are in good agreement. These results provedthat the model established in the text can reflect the containing regeneration bricktablets concrete frame columns seismic performance.The results indicate that in certain replacement rate conditions the includingrenewable brick tablets concrete, the axial compressive strength and cube compressivestrength of ordinary concrete quite. But splitting tensile strength, flexural strength andelastic modulus were lower than ordinary concrete. Recycled brick particles containingperformance enhancements compared to the mechanical properties of concrete withrecycled concrete are improved and enhanced, the effect is more obvious. So it is worthto further research and application.The results also show that, in general, the failure mode and seismic performancevariation of including recycled concrete frame columns of brick grain are similar toordinary concrete frame column. But under the same conditions, the ductility isdecreased significant, the rate is more than30%. In contrast, the seismic performance of concrete frame columns with recycled brick grain performance enhancements, itscarrying capacity, ductility, energy dissipation performance than the concrete framecolumns containing recycled brick grain significantly improved, it is a goodpromotional value.
